Production

As a general rule we want to think logically about our production. Ethical labor, ensuring fair wages and safe working conditions are a no-brainer. And further than the human aspect, we want to think and act sustainable. Producing our products on the same spot as the fabric is made for example. And if we can go further then that we will: using recovered or recycled materials to minimise waste.

Being transparent is essential to us, so feel free to read more below, and reach out with questions.

Both the fabric, as well as the products are made in India. We visited their textile units and received a GRS certificate, which stands for Global Recycled Standard. It’s a widely recognized certification in the textile and manufacturing industries that verifies both the content of recycled materials and responsible social, environmental, and chemical practices along the supply chain.

When we design, we take into account what the materials have to offer and we do multiple sampling rounds. However, we all have history and recycled nylon can show its marks. Every bag is unique and we would like you to embrace possible minor imperfections such as:

  • Loose threads
  • Small pulls within recycled nylon fabric
  • Holes smaller than 5mm
  • Natural marks
  • Minimal size or shape variations
  • Uneven weave texture

Want to make it more durable?

  • Spot clean with a slightly damp cloth
  • Avoid long-term sun exposure to prevent fading
  • Your bag will arrive flat, but using it will help it spring into shape
